Istrouma will take a team to Guatemala to serve alongside our partner Vidas Plenas. The team will serve in the academies, teaching the students about different gospel stories and praying for the community they live in. Below is a personal testimony from Ainsley and Parker who went on this trip last year.
“In La Limonada, you see God bringing beauty from ashes everywhere you turn. It is a place full of suffering, yet abounding in hope! In serving with the Vidas Plenas team, I witnessed what it looks like to intentionally pursue & love a hurting community as well as the radical hospitality of its people. If you have the opportunity to go on the next Guatemala trip, please go! You’ll be forever changed.”
