Next year, the federal government is withdrawing federal funds to support children's literacy, learning media and French programming on LPB.

Quota International of Baton Rouge is sponsoring a fundraiser, "Eyes on the Ties," Thursday, Sept. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at L'Auberge Conference Center to support these programs. You can help by attending the event and by buying raffle tickets for a chance to win a trip to Downton Abbey. All proceeds will support Louisiana Public Television's Children's Programming including TV programs aimed at building literacy, numeracy and language skills and children's programming in French for ages 2 through high school.
