Dragon Byte FIRST Robotics Team

Dragon Byte Robotics was awarded the Innovate Award at the Watt Interleague Competition yesterday! The Innovate award honors teams for their exceptionally creative and ingenious robot design solution to a game challenge, emphasizing innovative thinking, refined design, and robust ex*****on, meticulously documented in their Engineering Notebook to showcase the design process for a groundbreaking component or sub-assembly! Their swerve drive train and three comprehensive shooter builds, coupled with a thorough portfolio, stood as a testament to their unwavering dedication! They gained invaluable insights this season, experiencing profound growth in all facets of the game. What an achievement for their parents, coaches and mentors to be proud of!

Night before competition leads to prepping to work from home until the wee hours and getting help from the mentors.

Our Robot Philip Version 1.3, in all his technicolor glory, led our way to a 3rd place finish in our first competition on November 1st.
