Nov 2nd, 2025 – my first ever marathon, AND on home turf in NYC!

Every leg of this race tapped into something I’ve never felt before and I am just overwhelmed with thankfulness for my community.

This truly took a village. Thank you to .julia and for turning this race from a dream to reality. To my training partners & – from union st to complainOclock, we wore our hearts on our sleeves and formed a friendship built on true character and support for each other. And I could not have done this without them (TaKaCa forever).

Coach , thank you for the perfectly tailored training plan, car rides to Rockland, and endless support. Special thanks to , , and Rich for nutrition support on course and the countless hours of check-ins and runs to keep the head level and the miles short.

To friends near and far, my family in MN, my mom for texting every 4 miles, my roommates and for dealing with all my gross, sweaty, smelly selves through this whole training block and the support every time I step out the door all the way to the finish line with a bag of provisions, flowers, fat heads, and a hug! AND for suiting me up, visor and all.

I love you all so much, and if I haven’t thanked you already or given you a massive hug, thank you from the bottom of my heart! And this is a hug IOU.
