“Fallen Soldiers”

(Childhood picture with Brendon if you look closely on the left) (A moment of my teenager years with Hunter on the right) While in a time of sadness I knew I needed to capture my emotion in the moment or I would never accept it. So I took a vulnerable move and recorded this at my cousin Brendon’s celebration of life. With the initials of Hunter Brown & Brendon Gifford to remember them forever.

The song: I wrote this after I heard the news of Hunter passing in 2022 and I couldn’t find the inspiration to record it because I wasn’t strong enough to. Then almost a year later my cousin Brendon went with god so that created the motivation to actually record what I wrote and here we are today. One of my favorite songs ever. Therapy to say the least.
