Our History

This “Group” was started in the late 40’s - early 50’s by General Motors employees from the Baltimore Parts Distribution Center. Their plan was to help dealers perform Physical Inventories of their parts departments. They called themselves “Auto Parts Inventory Specialists Group” A lot has changed since then, not only within the “Group”, but within the auto dealer industry. Joining the “group” in 1995, Mike Robinson has been working in the automotive business since 1975 and has seen and adapted to these changes. Mike took over the “group” in 2015 and In 2016 established the group with a new name and LLC registration. Mid Atlantic Auto Dealer Inventories LLC updated and streamlined what was started years ago to take the “group” to a new level. Crews are selected for their experience and attention to detail. Like our founders used GM warehouse workers we now select our crews from dealers looking for Managers, Top Counter people and Inventory specialists,
