Today, the fire service lost one of its own.

The members of Benbrook Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and members of Odessa Fire Rescue following the line-of-duty death of Lt. Isai Huerta.

Lt. Huerta, a 29-year-old veteran of Odessa Fire Rescue, made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting his community during a residential fire response.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, his fire department family, and all those affected by this tragic loss. May they find strength, comfort, and support in the days ahead.

Rest easy, Brother. We’ll take it from here.

A huge thank you to tarrantcountyesd1 Station 570 for helping make a very special wedding day even more memorable for one of our own firefighting families.

The crew from Whiskey Flats Engine 570 went above and beyond by transporting the newlyweds to their reception in the neighborhood, giving them an unforgettable grand entrance and a memory they’ll cherish for years to come.

We truly appreciate our neighbors to the south and the strong friendships that extend far beyond mutual aid calls. Thank you, Station 570, for helping make the day so special! 🚒❤️💍

It was an honor participating in this Memorial Day event at the Benbrook cemetery to remember the fallen. Thank you to the Boy Scouts of America and Benbrook VFW & Auxiliary 10429 . We remember. 🇺🇸
