At just 6 years old, Jack has spent countless hours observing others receiving pitching instruction and lately he has been asking me to find him a catcher so I can coach him “like the other ones.” He has this fearless look about him, whether he is standing up to bat or staring in at the catcher’s signs from the mound. He also claims to throw 7 different pitches, but mostly he likes me to call the other pitches just so he can shake me off and throw his fastball. 🤣🤣
