We have just released an update to the SoftStep Editor software and firmware that improves playability and adds the ability to return settings to factory default.

The new 12 Step editor and firmware are about to drop. In addition to new features for 12 Step2 (CV Outs, backlight brightness control) we've added new features and improvements for existing 12 Step1 users:

* Program Change, Bank MSB and LSB messages are now all independently configurable/defeatable per preset
* Expression pedal calibration with min/max/curve
* Editor presets are now stored in the system appData directory rather than in the app folder bundle
* Device presets are now preserved after a firmware update
* 12 Step now uses KMI's latest USB MIDI driver and firmware bootloader
* Tons of improvements to the user interface, especially on Windows
