WAM supported 4 local surgical camps at Kabudula with AHA in 2021! During these camps, patients from remote villages receive free surgery they would otherwise not be able to access at the community hospital, while local clinicians gain more hands-on experience with major procedures under the supervision of a visiting expert from Lilongwe. Our goal for 2022 is to conduct at least 10 camps in order to serve the long list of patients still waiting for surgery at Kab!
