This Tuesday, we had a Coffee Chat with Professor Mi at The Musical Offering & Cafe. Professor Mi introduced how the membranes work to intercept the desired molecules, and the production, innovation and application of membranes. She explained that new materials have drastically improved the separation ability and reduced costs of production, so membrane technologies are able to help us in many fields including waste treatment, medical application and water security. She also highlighted the cooperative researches on membrane technologies by China and US.

We will be meeting with Sue Chau and Junyi Du, professionals in CAEPA, on 10am, Saturday, Oct. 29th at the Musical Offering & Cafe.

Chinese American Environmental Professionals Association (CAEPA) is a non-profit organization of professionals, scientists and researchers who are concerned about improving the environment. Sue has had more than 20 years of experience in environmental planning; Junyi has performed extensive research on water treatment and life cycle analysis.
