【Ink at Berkeley - Photo Editing Workshop】
Spring break is always too short, but memories last. TELL ME that I'm not the only one who is still looking at the photos of my awesome Spring Break, denying the fact that school has already started. Looking at those photos, do you feel that you have so many photos you want to post, but not satisfied with the quality/ lighting/ tone? Wanna produce fancy pictures with your own style but don't know how? No worries! On April 5, from 6:30-8:30pm , Ink at Berkeley is having a photo editing workshop that will teach you not only the most practical photo manipulation techniques with hands-on guide to polish your photo but also using existing photos to create brand new images! In this workshop we will cover some useful techniques such as: Mixer Brush (how to paint quickly with realistic textures), equalizing textures (how to smooth out the colors and lighting for images), Blending modes (how to fine tune and blend images together) and other quick tricks in Photoshop.

Hello fellow Inkers!
Yesterday was the March IMix! It was a fun culture showcase with music, food, and art. We featured art pieces that were inspired by Korean, Chinese, Indian, and Byzantine art in order to explore and appreciate the variety of cultures around the world. Students learned more about different cultures and got to paint on cookies as a fun little activity.
We also hosted our first Digital Art workshop on Tuesday, which was a success! We had two wonderful workshop leaders walk students through the basic steps of creating art using Photoshop. Hopefully those who were able to come left with new knowledge about digital art and the useful tools they can use to create it.
If you couldn't make it two either of these events, don't worry! Make sure to keep an eye out for future events so you don't miss out on the fun!

Here comes our first welcome event, the museum visit! As Cal students, we have the privilege to visit the newly reopened BAMPFA for free with guide provided by the museum. The museum theme is Architecture of Life, and all kinds of art pieces are presented, trying to interpret the relationship between the architecture, structures and our life. Highly recommended to go and check it out if you are interested!
We sold all of our cookies, thank you all! We can now have more well funded events this semester. And if you would like to join us, don't forget to fill out the committee application by Monday February 15th (today) before midnight. Wish to hear from you soon!
