In Honduras, the story of HIV is one of hard-won progress. Once the epicenter of Central America's epidemic, the country has reduced new adult infections to around 500 a year and is working toward the global 95-95-95 goals: 95% of people knowing their status, 95% on treatment, and 95% with suppressed viral loads.
We are proud to support that progress.
With funding from The Global Fund, we are helping advance the National HIV Strategic Plan, guided by a clear north star of zero new infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths. This includes expanding PrEP, reaching key populations with testing and care, integrating HIV and tuberculosis services, and strengthening the systems that guide smarter public health decisions.
When COVID-19 hit, the same teams helped stand up oxygen plants and deliver lifesaving equipment to hospitals, leaving behind a stronger health system ready for what comes next.
Ending HIV and TB in Honduras is possible. It takes science, partnership, and a deep belief in the people leading this work.

Nearly 40% of the world’s land is degraded. Crop won't grow in places they previously flourished, water is harder to find, and soil is losing its fertility.
Now the question is, can the land be restored? And if so, how?
One part of the answer is taking shape through AfriScout. It is a mobile application that brings together traditional knowledge, satellite data, and regenerative grazing practices to help pastoralists manage their herds and restore the rangelands they depend on.
Through AfriScout Regen, communities coordinate grazing at scale using adaptive practices that restore grasslands, improve soil health, and rebuild pastures over time. This is just one way that pastoralists are turning degraded land into productive ecosystems again.
