“The directors from the tournament this weekend selected an individual for the Team Sportsmanship Award with the following key characteristics: respect for others, selflessness, grace under pressure, humility, integrity, leadership, & positivity. And our very own, Lynsie Ladner, was selected for the 2026 USSSA Team Sportsmanship Award. Her passion for the sport and positive energy is infectious. She embodies everything we want our girls to aspire to be. They truly could not have selected a better role model for our girls!” -Coach Chu

“What a way to end an amazing season. This team is something special for sure. The team batted over 400 for the season and the pitching staff combined for 471 strikeouts while only giving up only 80 walks. They score 455 runs and gave up 134 runs on the season. I couldn’t be more proud of their growth and development! Then on the plus side to take home the USSSA National Championship in classic stress your parents out mode by double dipping in the Championship from the losers bracket! This team showed grit and determination! Raegan Anthony received Overall MVP and Berkley Chu received Most Outstanding Pitcher awards for the tournament! Not an easy choice at all as so many players contributed in so many ways. The team played well in all aspects of ball when needed and never gave up! To overcome adversity was a goal set from the beginning of the season. I’m so thankful I was blessed with the opportunity to coach these young ladies! As a coach my only goal is to better prepare them for the next phase. I know they are all destined for great things. I would like to thank my parents for being an amazing supportive village for each and every single girl on the team! And a big shoutout to the coaching staff for volunteering their time and effort into these girls. Without y’all, I am but just one guy barking orders. Y’all help make all these things possible. As we close our final chapter of 10U, I can only be excited for what’s to come. We will face new challenges and obstacles on the way. But that’s where growth happens! On to the 11U season and many more great achievements for the future team! The train is full steam ahead and we aren’t looking back, just forward!
