This is one of those designs that never really goes out of style.

I’ve had it in the shop for years, and people keep coming back to it; I think because it just feels like something you’d want to hold onto.

It even fits in a frame if she wants to keep it longer than just the day.

Some verses just quiet the noise immediately.

This is one of those for me. Its such a strong a reminder that even when everything feels uncertain, we are known and held.

Have you ever read a verse and felt your whole body just… exhale a little?

So I’ve been on quite the journey here lately. I don’t know if this is “mid-life malaise” as my sweet cousin so aptly phrased it the other day or just the result of my super perfectionist, have to be always on/doing all the things self— but I hit a major wall over the holidays. Throw in a 3 week virus on top and out comes a hot mess 😆

I’m not sure of the exact etiology of this feeling- all I know is that my 42 year old body is throwing me a hard stop. So this year, I’m trying to maximize intentional white space in my life. Space for the things I love, not just the things I’m responsible for. And at that rate- redefining where my energy goes and what I am ACTUALLY responsible for.

I am really so thankful for this wonderful network of friends I’ve built here 🤍🤍 just know that I’m here. It may not look like showing up with 3 posts a week or new art all the time, but I’m here! Mostly just saying this to free myself of the guilt from not doing instagram “just so” :) anywho..

I got myself a new set of watercolor procreate brushes for Christmas and have been wanting to try them out! — this new aqua real set is a WIN!! Love love it! I figured it would be easier to experiment not working from scratch, so I used my Flowers watercolor workbook and adapted it for Procreate! So fun! If y’all haven’t tried these workbooks- they’re so cool! She starts you off with a sketch, color palate, and instructions! I love her style :) And the quote from Emily Dickinson just made me smile 🥰
