Months of development since Barber proved itself at Hallett over the weekend with bright flashes of pace that elevated the HPD Civic into a race winning contender, but what wasn’t appreciated were the bright flashes of 🔥from a blown engine oil fire that ruined our race weekend some 35 mins into the Saturday race. Fortunately the car’s fire suppression system and track safety crew did their job quickly and the car (and myself) was mostly spared to fight another race.

The best part of the weekend was yet to come, with the time spent with the team exploring Tulsa’s hidden gems while drowning our defeat in whiskey made the journey worth it. Special thanks to for his quick trackside ingenuity that kept the car on track as much as possible, and for making the trek up to Tulsa for crew support even when our race weekend ended early!

Barber was a blast

We were running P3 until we lost a fuel pump with just over two hours to go in today’s 7-hour enduro at Barber Motorsports Park. Great track and great event put on by WRL as always. Super close to our first podium, which only makes us want it more!
