Sometimes the only way to get the vocal 100% right is to do it by hand.

Every blue line is a vocal part tuned by hand.

Lots of cool inflection and pitch sauce in the vocal we didn’t want to lose…but sometimes being so loose and expressive with pitch ends up sounding further out than in. So we get out the microscope and make sure the pitch is exactly as perfect or imperfect as the song needs.
