Why did the scale go up after starting resistance training? 🤔

Many people assume they gained body fat—but that's usually not what's happening.

Early increases in body weight are often the result of your body adapting to training through:
💧 Temporary fluid retention during muscle repair
⚡ Increased muscle glycogen storage (which also stores water)

True muscle growth takes weeks to months, not days, and a change on the scale doesn't automatically mean you've gained fat.

Remember: The scale measures your total body weight—not just body fat.
