Today we had the privilege of raising a new flag and official America's 250 flag for the Rehabilitation Center of Independence. We were honored to be asked and to represent The American Legion - Tirey J. Ford Post 21 in our community.

After serving the customers at the monthly The American Legion - Tirey J. Ford Post 21 Veterans food pantry the chapter got on the books and headed down to the Veterans Community Project of Kansas City to visit with the residents and lean more about the good work that is being done there.

We had a great time at the Missouri Legacy Run last weekend. We enjoyed a lot of great riding and fellowship. We also donated a check for $5,000 as part of the $37,000 raised by ALR Missouri.

Come in and get your tickets for Friday's drawing. We will draw one ticket on Friday at 7 and if that winner picks the door where the Queen of Hearts is hiding they take home the jackpot!
Half of this week's ticket sales will be added to the jackpot before we draw.

This week we will present a $5,000 donation to the Legacy Run supporting the Veterans and Children Foundation. That would be possible without your support. The Queen of Hearts is a big part of our fundraising and we appreciate everyone who buys a ticket to help us.
