AP AWARDS RELEASED! 🏅

Did you challenge yourself this year with APs? Your efforts might have earned you national recognition — AP Scholar Awards are now posted in your College Board account!

Here’s a quick breakdown of what each award means:

🔹 AP Scholar – Scored 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams
🔹 AP Scholar with Honor – Avg score of 3.25+ on all exams, and scores of 3+ on four or more exams
🔹 AP Scholar with Distinction – Avg score of 3.5+, and scores of 3+ on five or more exams
🔹 AP Capstone Diploma – Scores of 3+ in AP Seminar, AP Research, and 4 other AP exams
🔹 AP with WE Service Recognition – For completing service projects tied to AP learning

Remember: these awards reflect hard work and commitment—but they don’t define your journey. Whether you earned one or not, your growth matters most. If you are taking AP scores this year, you may be eligible for an award next July. Keep challenging yourself and striving for success.

RISING SENIORS: DON'T WAIT UNTIL AUGUST 1

The Common App opens for the Class of 2027 on August 1, but you can get a huge head start before the annual rollover.

IMPORTANT: The Common App will temporarily shut down in late July (beginning July 28) for its annual system refresh.

Here's what you should do BEFORE the shutdown:

✅ Complete your Common App profile.
✅ Build your My Colleges list.
✅ Write your Personal Essay.
🚫 Wait until after the rollover to complete college-specific questions and upload your essay.

Getting these tasks done now means you'll be ready to hit the ground running when applications officially open on August 1.
