Day 2 of the 2026 Heroes Con, Charlotte, NC *Fan Page* was our best single day ever! We crushed our 2026 goal.

We’re heading back to Foster Village Charlotte and Atrium Health Levine Children's in Charlotte, NC later today to drop off more books for kids before we leave town. Big thanks to Heroes Aren't Hard To Find and the convention patrons for making it possible.

Sponsor a Comics Appreciation Project (CAP) Share-Care Box to comfort children in crisis. 05/22/2026

Join us today in celebrating our Founder’s Day annual fundraiser. Every $20 received goes to provide one Share-Care box with three award-winning graphic novels to a displaced child in medical crisis or foster care.

We started CAP in 2022 with a simple mission: to use the power of comics to bring comfort, inspiration, and joy to children in foster care and medical crisis. Since then, we've given away nearly 7,000 graphic novels to kids in crisis. Your support can help us continue this work.

We only solicit two fundraisers per year: Founder's Day in late May and Giving Tuesday in early December. Our preferred donation method is through Zeffy, a platform created exclusively for nonprofits that allows supporters to give without transaction fees.

Sponsor a Comics Appreciation Project (CAP) Share-Care Box to comfort children in crisis. The Comics Appreciation Project Inc. (CAP) is a 501c3 nonprofit promoting the use of graphic novels as both an effective tool for engaging struggling readers and a legitimate medium for instilling a lifelong joy of reading. We want to engage and support all young readers, especially those in crisis....
