This week, our CEO, Daryl Collins, and Project Manager, Bamzi Banchiri, are attending the convening for the Gates Foundation Digital Connectivity for Women and Girls strategy (GEDC) in Nairobi, Kenya. Partners and stakeholders gathered to share insights and strengthen collaboration toward closing the digital gender gap for women and girls. Some powerful takeaways from our team:

🤝Decodis, Quicksand, and YUX Design have partnered on the Digital Personas project, leveraging the approach of the Foundation Pathways Project. Digital Personas will provide a nuanced and actionable understanding of women’s ability to use technology for improved livelihoods, accessible healthcare, and empowerment.
Donors, private companies, governments, NGOs, and think tanks can use Digital Personas to drive the creation of technological solutions that address women's unique vulnerabilities.

Some surveys about young American adults conclude that they are fatalistic about how much government can do. Ahead of the election, Decodis self-funded a one-day Instagram ad and captured the voice responses of 150 young American adults aged 18-30 through one of our automated interviews. We were amazed by the responses: these participants really talk. And they say more in an automated voice survey than they would in a live one. In fact, six times as much.
