I had lunch with a friend yesterday and they asked me how it feels to be a father of 4? They knew me in single dad land and have witnessed the becoming of me and Brittany.
I shared about the story of my last 2. I shared that I knew Kehlani was going to come one day because God told me while in one of my darkest moments.

Kairo was a little different. We were at a place where we went back and forth about closing out the story.

But God also told my wife that she would have a son and his name will be Isaiah. Isaiah means “The Lord is Salvation” Meaning, God is the ultimate source of rescue, deliverance and total security.

He is the reminder and completion of the Badgett Legacy. God has been the source behind all of the story.
His smile and presence reminds us of this truth daily.

One of the areas folks wrestle with when it comes to having children at a later age is the reality you confront about your own mortality. Do you really want to be raising kids in your 40s? But having children and creating a legacy is about what happens when you’re gone not just about when you’re here. I will pour until I am no more. I pray the same for you.
