My Story
I'm a mostly what we so called self thought musician, and you already know, when you sit down and spend time to analyze, to learn and experiment stuff, you developed some unique ability, and lot of love for that thing.
I am a Pianist, Saxophonist, Drummer, and Singer. after teaching myself all the basic in music, I found myself lacking some "juice" if we want to put in the current terminology, and I was someone to guide me though my playing I needed, and I had found few great teachers that had guided me and still are. I have had the opportunity to study Piano with Gilberto Paul, a great Haitian Pianist, Guitarist, I have studied Jazz with Professor Tim Mc Laughlin at Bunker Hill Community College in the BHCC Jazz Ensemble where I have had the opportunity to expand on my piano, drums, congas playing and my singing under him. I have studied with Mark Popeney, the chairman of the music department at BHCC, and I also had to opportunity to meet one of my favorite while at BHCC, Profesor Denis Shafer the band leader of The BUZZ, a great music teacher who have taught me Saxophone . I have also had the opportunity to study at Berklee College of music with Professor Kevin Harris another favorite of mine who taught me some great things about Jazz Music. I do lots Gospel Music and Jazz. I have played with couple bands, such as Alpha Gospel Band, YAM, the New Millenium, and the KeyBell Project that I founded along with a great Trumpet player @Eyad Abbas.
As Martin Luther said that Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us.
