It is with great loss that we share with you the passing of our longtime camarada, Doña Betsaida Gutiérrez. Betsaida passed after a recent hospitalization, on June 24th.

She graced us at CSIO. She participated in many cross-community leadership trainings, dialogues and other movement building activities. While she always had so much to teach other immigrant leaders and organizers, she was a great listener.

Friends and family of Betsaida are raising money for Betsaida’s funeral expenses.

Services for Betsaida:
Viewing hours will be held at Mann and Rodgers Funeral Home, 44 Perkins Street Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 on Sunday, July 7th, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Live stream will be available. https://www.mannandrodgers.com/

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8th starting at 11am at the same location. Live stream will be available. https://www.mannandrodgers.com/ She will be buried at New Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale.
