This evening, Fr. Tom Conway, OFM joined Mayor Michelle Wu 吳弭 and Karen LaFrazia, President and CEO of St. Francis House, Boston for a Renovation Open House and Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the completion of an 18-month renovation of the space that was reimagined "through a trauma-informed design that promotes dignity, safety, and healing".

42 years ago, the Friars on Arch Street, under the direction of Fr. Louis Canino, OFM established St. Francis House at 39 Boylston St. Since its opening, the Shrine has had a terrific partnership with St. Francis House with numerous friars serving in both important and humble roles there. We are pleased that our ongoing partnership shares the Franciscan values of compassion, dignity, and service for our most vulnerable neighbors.
