Things may have been quiet on here for awhile but just now we are still making changes in the lives of youth and veterans this year. It looks like we will be having our first Mission Ready backed youth competing in some boxing in January. We are also looking at venues for our annual 5k fundraiser in 2024 so stay tuned for that. Next year is looking like the year Mission Ready will be finally able to take the stage a bit more in some other opportunities. Lots of good stuff on the horizon!
Together We Are Limitless
After a long weekend with some time to reflect on this Saturdays 5K fundraiser we would like to say thank you. Thank you to all of you that came out to run, support from a distance, walk the course, volunteered to help, sponsored the event or cheer on the participants. We would also like to thank the DCR and their staff for letting us use the beautiful Breakheart reservation. It is a dream come true to mix our mission with nature. As our Executive director put it; we are a community and when you have a group of people with common interests, attitudes and goals working together anything is possible. It filled us with much gratitude to see so many show up for our very first 5k event. Some old faces, people we see every day and to our welcome suprise many new faces. From kids to adults and K-9's everyone came out in high spirits and showed once again that together we are limitless. This may have been our first event but it will certainly not be our last. Thank you all so very much and

We would like to thank another sponsor for the Mission Ready 5K on June 10th. Jackie Jane Art Direction and Graphic Design. She designed this awesome shirt below for the sponsors and first 50 registered runners. We are now over the limit for the shirt with sign up but if you are interested in getting one for the race or after you run.
