VRLC's offices will be closed Monday, June 29th, through Friday, July 3rd for our annual summer break.

The demand for victim services and the desire to do more are constants. As organizations across our field navigate funding uncertainty and the challenges of the current political climate, taking time to rest remains an essential part of maintaining the energy, perspective, and care needed to push our shared mission forward.

We look forward to returning on Monday, July 6, renewed in our commitment to seeking justice for every survivor.

VRLC recently joined more than 360 organizations and individuals demanding the release of delayed Office on Violence Against Women grant funds because as John Lewis reminded us, "If not us, then who?"

Continued delays have real consequences for the communities that depend on these resources. Funding interruptions put critical programs at risk when survivors and the organizations that serve them need them most.

Three VRLC grants are due to end in September. This continued uncertainty of federal funding threatens our programs that help train attorneys, strengthen legal services, and support trauma-informed responses that benefit K-12 and college-age sexual assault survivors.
