Although I appreciate all the friends I've made over the years, regretfully, I can't respond to all facebook queries.

Micheal Kamen was a great artist and a virtuoso, his wonderful spontaneity brought a thrilling energy to his performances on my record. I owe a lot to a kind and great man.

Although "Philly To Tablas" was recorded in 1970-71 it remains my favorite. The way everything came together so effortlessly it seemed to be meant to be. My boyhood friend and the best band mate I ever had Ed McLarnon stuck by my side as bass player, recording engineer, and brother throughout the entire record. We recorded the whole record at Intermedia in Boston, so many great artist passed through there at that time. I was finishing what we used to call side "A" when Dan Frye said that he thought that I had an unusual sounding voice and asked if he could put a piano part on "What Have You Seen", after that performance I told him that he had a job, then he brought in his mellotron and gave the whole record that special sound that only a mellotron can give. I met Micheal Kamen in a similar way he was passing by studio "A" when he stuck his head in and told me that he thought that I had a unusual voice and asked if he could put his oboe on the songs I had recorded, having heard his work with the New York Rock And Roll Ensemble l said sure, he was a great person and musician. So much of that record happened that way you can see why l say it seemed to be meant to be. I cannot overlook the great work of Cleve Pozar and David Humphies, and the faith of Gunther Wiel.
