Boulder Is For People

Well, Boulder. WE DID IT. After 20+ years of a conservative majority on city council, we have flipped 3 seats and created a progressive majority in office.
First, many congratulations to Lauren, Nicole, and Matt. These candidates won not only because they ran an incredible campaign, but also because they were the absolute best for the job. We can’t wait to work with them to build a more just, climate-resilient, and equitable Boulder.
Second, THANK YOU! It took this whole community coming together with passion, kindness, strength, and creativity to stand with these candidates and massively change the conversation in Boulder.
We are so powerful together. We hope you stick with us moving forward. As we’ve said before, while Boulder is for People began as a committee to elect pro-people, pro-housing candidates to city council, we have always envisioned our work as a part of a greater movement to make Boulder for all of us. One part of our work is done, but another, more amazing journey is ahead!!! For now though, here’s to all of our hard work this year!! THANK YOU ALL!!
