Brenham ISD is still looking for parents and community members to help with our Summer Meals To-Go Program. Volunteers may assist with packing meal bundles, organizing supplies, and helping with meal distribution.

Volunteer tasks may vary depending on the day and could include:
🍎 Assembling individual meal items
📦 Packing meal bundles
🗂️ Organizing supplies
🚗 Assisting with meal distribution

For educators summer is a time to reset and renew BUT it is also a time filled with professional development, planning, and reorganizing. In many ways summer is busier than the school year- without the stresses a school year can bring.

This week, those educators who will be joining BISD had the opportunity to learn about the district, form friendships with the other “newbies,” and begin to plan for the upcoming school year!

So proud of this group!!! Heather Beckmann Kaldis started this program just a handful of years ago at BHS, and they are doing AMAZING things!!! It is a credit to the fantastic educators we have in BISD! I had the opportunity to help judge the regional competition this past fall. I loved every single minute!!! 🏈🎉 Athletes, Let's Get Ready for the Season! 🎉🏐

The countdown to the first day of practice is ON! Before your athlete can hit the field or court, their physical and rankone paperwork must be completed and turned in by the first day of practice.

***Don't wait until the last minute! The earlier you turn it in, the smoother the start of the season will be.

You can turn in your physical by:
*Emailing it to Sarah Maples at [email protected]
*Sending it with your student to SAC Camp
*Dropping it off at your student's school, and they'll make sure it gets to me.

Let's get everyone cleared and ready to go before practice begins. We can't wait to see our Cubs back in action! 🐾💚

Get those physicals in early and check one more thing off your summer to-do list!
