Most conventional lotions are up to 80% water. To keep that water stable, they have to rely on a cocktail of synthetic fillers, chemical emulsifiers, and heavy preservatives. Some are even known to be skin irritants (Behentrimonium Methosulfate & Ethylhexylglycerin) & hormone disruptors (Methylparaben & Propylparaben)
