Brake Safety Week starts TODAY!

Did you know brake problems account for approximately 29% of all large truck crashes (2021 data)? The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance's (CVSA) Brake Safety Week is August 25-31. This year, inspectors will focus on the condition of brake linings and pads. Commercial motor vehicle brakes are an essential component for apparent reasons.

Considering nearly one in three crashes is brake-related, brake maintenance is essential for commercial truck drivers. Proper pre-and post-trip inspections to identify deficiencies in the braking system are a vital part of a driver’s day and ensure they remain safe on the roadway. We want all our professional carhaulers to make it home safely on every drive.

Our Pilot Transport team is honored to participate in a small way in the 2024 Dream Ride Experience Weekend. We transported a load of McLarens (McLaren Automotive – The Official Page) to Farmington, Connecticut.

According to the nonprofit Hometown Foundation Inc., the Dream Ride Experience is part of a year-long movement to raise funds to help people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, highlighting the determination of these men, women, and children and their willingness to persevere, overcome challenges, and shatter stereotypes.
