Did you know Californians are easy to recognize thanks to their signature dark "points" on their ears, nose, feet, and tail? They're basically the rabbits of formal wear—always dressed up for any occasion.

Fun Californian Rabbit Facts:

🐰 Baby Californians are born completely white, and their dark markings develop as they grow.

🐰 They are known for being calm, social, and people-friendly.

🐰 Most adult Californians weigh between 8 and 12 pounds, making them a medium-to-large rabbit breed.

🐰 Their soft white coats and striking markings make them one of the most recognizable rabbit breeds in the world.

🐰 Despite their size, many Californians are giant cuddle bugs who love attention, treats, and stretching out in dramatic bunny flops!

This sweet girl loves her free‑roam time, zooming and binkying like she owns the place. She’s adventerous, cats don’t scare her one bit, a fantastic hay eater, and her litterbox habits are top‑tier.

And honestly… she’s model‑ready. Every photo is her good side.

🎉🍀 One Year of Hops, Hope & Second Chances! 🍀🎉

This month, we’re celebrating one year of Hoppy Clover Rabbit Rescue’s 501(c)(3) journey and reflecting on what we’ve accomplished together.

In just one year:

🐰 Our first rescue rabbits arrived in September 2025
📸 We hosted 2 photo fundraiser events
🏡 Had 10 foster homes open their hearts to rabbits in need
❤️ 11 single rabbits found loving forever homes
💕 2 bonded pairs were adopted together
🐇 19 total rabbits came into our care with 15 of those finding their forever homes

Every intake, every foster home, every adoption, every donation, and every share has helped make these milestones possible. What started as a dream to help rabbits in need has grown into a community of compassionate supporters dedicated to giving rabbits the second chance they deserve.

To our fosters, adopters, volunteers, donors, veterinary partners, and followers—thank you for believing in our mission and helping us change lives, one rabbit at a time.

Here’s to another year of rescue, rehabilitation, education, and finding forever homes for rabbits in need. 🍀

Baby Roisín (or "Ro" as her foster mom affectionately calls her) is growing like a w**d and somehow getting sweeter by the day. This girl wants all the love from her humans — head rubs, snuggles, nose boops, you name it. Watching her blossom has been the best kind of magic.

Ro isn't quite ready for adoption - she has some more growing to do so that she can be spayed. But once she is available, she is going to make someone's dream come true. 💚🐇
