As we get closer to harvest I’ll be passing these out to my insured’s. It’s always a good idea to calibrate your combine. This allows you to have accurate data for your own records, AND if you feel comfortable using that data for your insurance, you’ve already got your calibration report taken care of! If you’re not doing this now but you want to simplify your production reporting, give me call!

Prepping for harvest should include getting your hands on fresh calibration report forms. If you record your calibration during harvest to prove you are within 3% accuracy, you can use your harvest data for production reporting, claims, and APH reviews. That means no more load logs, bin measurements, and other time-consuming paperwork.

Had a great opportunity to share a few thoughts with Mike Naig yesterday morning. Thanks to the Iowa Soybean Association for inviting me to come share my story and thoughts on how we can overcome some of the challenges beginning farmers face here in Iowa!

I had the honor of joining the ISA on this trip! Good conversations were had with our Representatives! It’s important for them to hear feedback directly from the farmers they represent. It’s easy to get involved if you want your voice to be heard as well!

🌾💧 Got Grass? Protect It with PRF Insurance!
Pays you when local rainfall drops ⬇️, so you can still buy hay or rent extra pasture.
Works on BOTH grazing acres & hay fields. Up to 59% of the premium is USDA‑subsidized—affordable peace of mind.

I really like this option for insureds, it’s a simple, easy spot for insureds to login and see all their policy info, claims info, set up accounts for paying premiums and receiving indemnity payments and also a portal for sending your precision data to use for your crop insurance. If you’re interested in being able to easily view and manage your crop insurance policies, give me a call and we’ll get you set up to do so!
