Even at temps as low as 75* (our current temp in Bryan, Texas) the humidity is at 89% pushing a ride into the danger zone if proper steps to cool them down are not taken. A yearly reminder from all of us at PPH.
We are so proud of Powell Performance Horses Alumni, Edie Dugger for her outstanding performance and big win as the Crockett Lions Club Rodeo Queen! She and her grandma Diane Holman have come to take lessons together for years and she has blossomed into such an amazing rider. George her gelding is loving life as a rodeo horse (he’s a reiner😉) but who wouldn’t ?! We are so proud of you Edie!!! We love to help rodeo queens prepare. If you have your eyes set on a crown in the future, we can get your horsemanship up to par and then some.
Go Melrose go! Rocker and Melrose are getting ready for a very special camp at the end of May and want to fine tune their reining maneuvers! Melrose has a natural ability, bravery and an independent seat already! She’s going to show everyone how it’s done at camp! Tommy is very proud of both of you!
