Going live on Twitch in about 10 minutes or so, working on the Weathered Guardian dress (bronze and teal). Check me out at

SuouNoNioi - Twitch I do sewing and crafting streams to help motivate myself to work. Some projects will be personal ones, but many will be for my fashion brand Faetouched Fashions. Grab a drink and settle in.

The next project in the state of the workroom is this plum purple number called Dark Siren. Apologies for potato quality photos; the new studio has terrible lighting that we are working to remedy. I have opened the skirt to add in some two-tone chiffon, and we will be replacing the bodice with chiffon as well. A cumberbund style middle piece will soften the waist and some ruffles in white and a purple/blue shift (not shown) will add some visual interest, though the hem ruffle is still being negotiated. The piece will be complemented by a hat, not shown because it was added after this sketch. Pearl detailing will complete the look.

First things first, we have this bronze dress. It immediately made me think of metal patina, so I am adding teal and turquoise into the dress, most notably through the addition of a layered tulle tutu skirt. And while it is not in the illustration because I haven't worked out the details, I have some dark teal chiffon to add a cape of some kind to it. Sequins and broze metal bits, including a lovely art nouveau butterfly centerpiece, will complete the look.
