This beautiful vintage cabinet has officially found its second life 🤍
Originally finished in a dark stain, this solid wood piece was thoughtfully reimagined with a soft, whitewashed finish that allows the natural grain to shine through while lightening the overall feel. The interior was refreshed with a deep navy floral lining for contrast, and finished with warm brass hardware to complement the curves and architectural details of the original design.
Every decision was made to honor the integrity of the piece while giving it a more timeless, livable presence for its new home.

I'm thrilled to share this stunning antique restoration project I've just completed for a client! Friends, while paint trends may come and go, restoring a beautiful antique solid wood piece like this with stain to showcase its gorgeous wood grain is truly timeless and elegant. At nearly 8 feet tall and full of intricate woodwork, this piece demanded many long hours of meticulous care to remove the old worn finish and sand back scratches and imperfections. I chose Candlelite stain and their Arm R Seal top coat for long-lasting durability. A lovely floral print now adorns the drawers and cabinets, bringing a touch of freshness and a pop of color! The hardware was meticulously cleaned and polished, giving this piece a second life that will last for many years to come. Be sure to swipe to see all the detail photos!! —>

This little antique secretary desk has gotten a glow-up! ✨
Scroll ➡️➡️ to see the sad state it was in when it was given to me for free by one of my clients. The veneer on the sides was curling and damaged beyond repair, so I pulled it off and decoupaged it with a lovely floral print, instead!
The front was in need of some interest, so I bought new wooden appliqués from and stained them to match. The piece was sanded and stained in antique walnut. Back legs and interior painted in One hour paint in Carbon.
