Sad news from d’Artagnan’s mom: I lost my beloved d’Artagnan last Thursday to a massive stroke. He was 12 and had been having issues but always rallied; however, this was too much. We got him to urgent care and gently let him run free. Can’t even put into words the depth of our grief. He was one of the truly special ones. 💔

Excellent tip! Might have to be a little higher for collies, though.
from MNSR alum Toonie’s family: Toonie gets concerned about what’s happening outside, especially if her person is outside and Toonie is inside.😱😩🗣️This window film has significantly helped.🪟👍

Handsome Romeo, 6 yr old sable/white male, has been adopted and will be living in WI. This lovely boy, originally adopted from MWCR when he was 8 months old, found himself looking for a new home due to serious life changes for his adopter. We always want to be there for our collies so of course we welcomed him back and he was even able to return to his original foster home, which helped to make the transition easier. Now this sweet boy is in his new home where he is getting all the love and snuggles that he deserves and he even has a kitty friend to play with :-).

If you've always had a fondness for redheads you'll be sure to say I Love Lucy! This beautiful, dignified 10 year old mahogany sable girl is pretty much the perfect companion. Lucy is calm, loving, obedient and social - an all around sweet well-balanced lady. We don't know how she is with small children or cats but she loves to play, gets along with other dogs, rides well in the car, can climbs stairs, is trustworthy alone at home and is an excellent cuddler.
Lucy found herself in need of a new home after her dad passed and her mom moved away. She was left with her dad's elderly parents who were not able to care for her and they reached out to MWCR. Although it's clear she was always loved, she did need a bit of dental care. Since having several teeth pulled Lucy feels much better and her breath is now kissably fresh. She is a smaller girl and at 58 lbs she could stand to a could stand to lose a couple extra lbs so she may have to cut back on the t-r-e-a-ts a bit.
So if you're looking for a loving and lovable easygoing redhead to join your pack, fill out an application for Lucy today! https://www.mwcr.org/collie-details&id=001TN00000p49owYAA&t=$time
