I’m very happy with how this historic concrete restoration turned out. Compared to what was there and the hurdles in between. It’s like night and day. Or what it did look like new in the 1940’s with our advanced knowledge compared to then add into it. Things are more available as well than back in those days. My understanding in that time period, they used what they had. But built to last.
This job took a bit longer than I wanted it to because of the existing/ original trim and trim boards and with us trying to put back as much original back as we could and replace what we had to. After piecing together with new and old, caulking all old holes and blending new to old, seems top and bottom. We painted white to pull and blend everything together. Make it look finished and new.
But needless to say, it all came together at the end wants we let the concrete cure 100% of 27 days. It’s a process, but a well worth one if done correctly. I’m proud to be apart of being able to keep the original design of home to keep its historic charm and appeal. I’m looking forward to what’s to come in our future and the great people we get to meet on the way. Have the same drive and passion. Thanks till the next one.
