Going back to move forward 🌊 This painting is titled Nalo Beach IV from my 2019 Beach Fall Collection. It was inspired by the peaceful shoreline of Waimanalo Beach on Oahu: soft waves, turquoise water, and the kind of calm you wish you could bottle up forever. A little piece of Hawai‘i for your home. 💙
I started a new series called Palette Walk 🎨 This time, I followed the color bronze throughout The Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.
What started as a search for one color turned into noticing the small details that give a place its character: bronze fountains ⛲️, aged textures, and even the bronze street plaques embedded into the brick walkways throughout The Plaza.
In a world racing toward modern and new, it’s the thoughtful little touches like these that make a place feel memorable. That’s what I’m loving most about this series so far, learning that creativity and beauty are often hiding in the details we walk past every day.

Going back to move forward. Waikiki Beach I is a piece from my 2019 Beach Fall Collection, inspired by the ever changing colors of the ocean against the horizon. 💙🌴 The gentle waves and movement of the water gives me a sense of peace and calms my busy mind.
