Amateur tennis players don't use this strategy nearly enough (the pro use it all the time)

You push into the court — the ground pushes back. Kinetic chain⛓️: Legs → hips → core → shoulders → arm → racket 👉 The racket doesn’t create power. 👉 It receives it last.

In tennis, the closer you step inside the court, the more angles you create.
By moving forward, you shorten the distance to your opponent’s court, which widens the available hitting angles and forces them to cover more ground. Depth pushes opponents back and limits their options, while stepping in turns time and space into offense.

The server and serving partner are connected — every shot matters.

Watch how the serving partner moves based on the serve.
But it doesn’t stop there.

On every ball your partner hits, read the depth, speed, and spin, then decide:
stay, shift, or poach.

Great doubles is anticipation, not reaction.
