Ezekiel was also caught speaking with malicious intent towards the newly appointed Commander of the Defense Forces, Santino Deng Wol, criticizing his leadership and questioning his loyalty.

The upcoming trip of Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth to Maiwut and Longechuk Counties exposes his hidden agenda:

1. When the SSPDF withdrew from Udier Payam, Ezekiel mobilized the recruitment of civilians from Cie Reang Mayar and Cie Nyejaani communities in Longechuk County into an armed private militia.

2. He argues that since Gen. Paul Nang Majok was removed, the new SSPDF leader, Gen. Santino Deng Wol, wants to implement the Agreement by promoting the integration of the SPLA- IO in hopes of ending the war, which he opposes. Ezekiel aims to arm the communities of Cie Reang and Cie Nyejaani in Longechuk as his private army for his subversive activities. The main mobilizers include Maj. Gen. James Khor Chuol Giet, Brig. Gen. Luel Kueth Deng, Longechuk Administrator Wiyual Kun Gatluak, and Cie Chuol of Reang Mayar. Members of the Nyejaani community refused such mobilization. However, Ezekiel is bringing stolen money from South Sudan's oil revenue to rally people to accept being armed, continuing his atrocities against the greater Gaatjaak community.

3. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth does not desire peace in South Sudan; he is planning to take over from President Salva Kiir Mayardit after recruiting enough civilians to spark another war, similar to what he did in 2013.

4. We urge the civilian population not to be dragged into war again because peace is necessary, and war has always benefited Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth.
