M38 Project

Since my last update back in July, the project has continued to move forward. The engine block and head has been machined, taken to the engine builder and reassembled with all new parts. After talking with Mr. Smith in Boston, GA earlier today, we now need to go through the transmission and transfer case (we thought this had been completed already). I will be meeting with him on Thursday to discuss what yet needs to be completed, take pictures and provide a more detailed update. But he has assured me that it will be completed in time for our Annual Memorial Ceremony.

Sorry for not posting any updates lately. We had a gremlin in the MB engine and currently in the process of rebuilding an MC engine (correct engine). Also had a couple issues with the wiring, but all these things have been worked out. It has been a long and expensive road, but the reason behind this build is well worth it. Our seven SEABEE brothers are well worth it and will never be forgotten. Pics to be posted soon.
