Not Alone Notes

This weekend I had the opportunity to visit University of Michigan and my old dorm room from junior and senior years. This room, in a historic, all women’s dorm, is where I had the idea for Not Alone Notes. It was a place where I struggled so much, with OCD, depression, and more. But it’s also where I wrote the first notes, was involved with Active Minds, directed a Mental Health Monologues, and where my mental health advocacy flourished. I’m so grateful for the perspective and continued growth. It gets better. Give it time.
