Thomas Tillapaugh Obituary - Wheat Ridge, CO 04/02/2020

Today will be a day that we remember and celebrate the life of a man that has had a huge impact on my life and countless others. Tom Tillapaugh the founder of The Denver Street School & The Hope Academy has passed away after battling with cancer.

The first time I met with Tom over lunch I knew that we (Set Them Free) would have to partner with him and his vision. His passion and persistence to see victims of s*x trafficking healed and restored was something we had to be a part of. As he started The Hope Academy we partnered with him and The Hope Academy as they became our only domestic partner in the fight against human trafficking.

Tom's love for others and resolve was a huge inspiration to me especially as things started to get hard with STF. When I looked to Tom I could see a man that laid his life down for a mission to bring hope. A man that went without so others could have something that seemed impossible. A leader and a visionary.

Please join with us today at 9:30 AM as Tom's funeral will be live streamed. As soon as I see the link I will share on our FB page (Set Them Free) so we can join together in honoring this faithful servant and Man of God.

You will be missed friend.
