A quote from an unnamed author reads, “As long as everything is exactly the way I want it, I’m totally flexible.” Wow! How many of us know someone like that? Admittedly I’ve had a few employers like that! Yet if we were to be honest with ourselves, could that quote ever land at your door? In all transparency, I would have to say yes! I own that!

It’s hard to face the reality that, we can all be just a little more self important that the person staring back at us, in the mirror. It’s ok to feel on top of the world, or that we are the architects of our own destiny!

As long as we don’t step on others to achieve that end. Romans 8:31 says, “What then shall we say of these things? If God be for us, who can be against us.” Just remember that on your long climb towards success, take a few people with you, on the way.
