Mary + Nico are ENGAGED! ✨

I loved being part of their proposal on Isle of Palms this past week. The sunset showed up for them in the most beautiful cotton-candy way. Nico had told Mary they were headed to the beach for an anniversary picnic, so she thought nothing of the fact that they were walking out to the beach with a blanket and picnic basket. Little did she know, Nico had the ring box hidden underneath the blanket.

After setting up the blanket, Mary turned to pour them both a drink. Nico took the opportunity to get down on one knee. When she turned around, she realized that this was no ordinary anniversary picnic :)

I never take for granted that I get to be part of such a special moment in a couples' story, and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to document this little moment in time!
