Background info: When I was in Charleston South Carolina we were exploring the city and came across this restaurant. The restaurant was really nice and my hockey team found this little corner where we played some board games and darts. Review: I ordered the boneless fried chicken wings with a side of honey mustard and fries. I ordered the 1lb portion and it was huge. Everybody on my hockey team didn’t think I could finish it. I ended up finishing it but some of my food was stolen. The chicken was fantastic, coated in perfectly crisped and breaded chicken. The breading had a ton of flavor. The chicken had a ton of flavor and let off a slight shine when shown in the light. The chicken was a little bit dry and lacking some flavor. The honey mustard added some flavor, it made them sweet and added a little bit of flavor. There were some parts where the breading was see through and the honey mustard leaked through the breading making the chicken drip with honey mustard or have way too much of a lopsided flavor. The fries were decent, they were thin and slightly salted. They could’ve been much better but they were lacking flavor. Overall this was a pretty good meal! Chicken most similar to: Brewhouse South. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen
Background Info: I ate here with my grandparents because we went snow tubing. During winter break there was no school so my grandparents took my sister and I snow tubing. Review: This place was just fantastic, the chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and had breading that was slightly crispy and packed with flavor. They were extremely juicy and the breading molded perfectly with the chicken. The chef in the back deserves my compliments because these chicken tenders were almost perfect. Some of the edges were rough messing up the texture and in those spots they were all breading no chicken. The breading had some spots that were crispy but the spots that weren’t crispy was fairly moist. The fries were tasty, crispy and had a seasoning that loaded them with flavor. If they put that seasoning on the tenders they would’ve been a ten for sure. Chicken most similar to: Xfinity Live. Place: York, PA. RATING: 9.5

The Yard House
Background Info: I ate at this restaurant because my sister had cheerleading practice on Friday Night. The gym is near the mall so we came here. We arrived just in time for happy hour. Everything on the happy hour menu is half off so my mom let me get a Chicken tender meal and a pizza from the happy hour menu. Review: When the chicken tenders came they looked really good. They were crispy and juicy. Despite them being really good they were a little bit over cooked. The breading was packed with flavor and it molded perfectly with the chicken. The chicken was tasty, it was juicy but had some untapped potential. This may have been because for happy hour they mass produce everything instead of taking as much time as they normally would. They were served with a side of ”Maple Dijon”. This sauce was a house made custom version of honey mustard and a maple flavor. The sauce was really good and added tons of flavor to the tenders. The fries were fantastic, a slight crisp and perfectly salted. Everything was great in this meal including the pizza despite the dough on some pieces being a little bit moist. If you are at this mall I would definitely suggest coming here because the chicken and pizza are fantastic. Chicken most similar to: Rumba Island Bar and Grill. Place: Arundel Mills Mall, MD. Brick House Tavern+Tap
Background info: This was when I was in Tampa, after a late game we got some food. It was right near the hotel and at midnight not much was open. Overall everything was really good except that it took so long to come out. Review: the breading was crispy and packed with flavor. The chicken blended well with the crispy breading. The only problem with there chicken was that it was lacking a lot of flavor. The breading tried to make up for that lack of flavor but only covered for about 50% of the flavor. The honey mustard helped with a little bit of the flavor and sweetened everything. The fries were fantastic, soft and packed with flavor. Overall this meal could’ve been fantastic but was lacking some flavor. Chicken most similar to: Tavern in the Square. Place: Tampa, FL. Rating: 8.5

Bakers Crust
Background info: I came here with my hockey team when we were in Virginia Beach. This restaurant was very nice and fit our very large group. And yes I’m aware that the picture is blurry. Review: The Chicken and Waffles came with honey on them. I ordered without them. I also ordered a side of French fries with honey mustard. I have a broken arm so I couldn’t cut the waffle or the chicken so I ate the chicken like a chicken finger. The chicken was crispy and had a lot of flavor. the chicken let off a slight shine when in the light showing how juicy they were. They had some flavor but I believed they had some untapped potential. You could tell that they were handmade and not frozen. The honey mustard per usual added sweetness and some extra flavor. The waffle was soft and flavorful. The fries were perfectly crisped with lots of flavor. Overall this meal was amazing but I wish the chicken was better. Chicken most similar to: Dennys. Place: Virginia Beach, VA. RATING: 8.5
