I'm Back!!! How many ridges do you see?
Sorry for the long hiatus. It's been difficult to get out recently and frankly, it's hard to be inspired during these trying times. Add a move to a new house during the middle of a pandemic and life has been a bit challenging.
But just one night out in the Blue Ridge Mountains and all is well with the world. It is amazing to me how photogenic this vast playland is. It just never disappoints!

Storms almost every evening in the mountains produce some very interesting night photography. This is especially true when the moon lights up the sky and the lightening fires up the clouds.

Just after the rainbow disappeared, this fantastic sky took on more color. Finding a good foreground is a struggle for me at times in the Midwest, but old farms are timeless.
